Our guest is Debbie Bacigalupi. Debbie is the senior editor for Technocracy.news. Debbie is also a featured speaker at conferences and talk shows on topics such as U.N. Agendas 21 and 2030, Sustainable Development, and Smart Cities. Debbie joins us on this episode of the Liberty Show to give us her insights on the smart city agenda of South Bend, Indiana.
But what is a Smart City? According to WhiteHouse dot gov “Smart Cities Initiative will invest over $160 million in federal research and leverage more than 25 new technology collaborations to help local communities tackle key challenges such as reducing traffic congestion, fighting crime, fostering economic growth, managing the effects of a changing climate, and improving the delivery of city services.”
South Bend and it’s Mayor Pete Buttigieg were featured in a September 16, 2015 Forbes article by David Morris. According to the article, “Buttigieg a former Rhodes Scholar and seasoned Washington insider, passed up a congressional run in favor of running South Bend, where he felt he could have a greater impact.” Later in the same article, we get a glimpse of the impact Buttigieg wants to have as says “The dream is to actually have a real life version of Sim City at my fingertips, so that we can see and manage [everything] in real time.” So Mayor Pete wants the power at his fingertips to see and control everything? He wants to be a Dr. Evil? Or is there something more to it than that?
Debbie Bacigalupi reveals the Smart Cities Agenda is part of something much bigger designed not only to monitor and control us, but to eventually abolish private property rights. It’s socialism done scientifically and it’s called Technocracy.
